Tafseer of Surah Al Mulk (Verse 20–22): ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ, peace mercy blessings be on you. Welcome to surahalmulk.net. Alhamdulillah, we are still going on with Surat Mulk, the 67th chapter of the Quran. So, we stopped at verse No. 23, and inshallah, we will continue from the verse (ayah No. 24). Before we start the ayah, a quick review of Surah Mulk will refresh my and your information. I will talk a little bit about Surah al-Mulk.

Introduction to Surah Al-Mulk

So, as I said at the beginning of the surah mulk, this beloved surah is Makki surah; it was revealed before the migration of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and we also have many hadiths and many sayings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about this surah mulk. If you read it on a daily basis, if you read it every night, if you read Surah Mulk before sleeping, or according to the haidith of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This Surah, by the will of Allah Almighty, will protect his companion.

Tafseer of Surah Al Mulk

The companion means the one who is always reciting Surah Mulk. This chapter, 67th, will prevent the Adab, the punishment of the grave, from coming to its companion. So, I highly recommend that everyone recite and memorize Surah Mulk. It’s only 30 verses, but the impact and meaning of these 30 verses are great. So, may Allah (SWT) bless us all to understand the Quran and to pound upon the meaning of the Quran. So, let’s start the Tafseer of Surah Al Mulk Verse 24–25.

Tafseer of Surah Al Mulk Verse 24–25

Allah Almighty says in verse No. 24

Which means, “Say, ‘It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth’, and to Him you will be gathered.” Now, what is the meaning of this ayah? Let’s look in depth and try to translate it into easy word that you can understand. But, as I said in the beginning, whenever you find the word قُلْ in the Quran, it means that Allah (SWT) is telling Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), قُلْ “Oh Muhammad, say O Muhammad to the people.” Now, it could be Muslims, non-Muslims, believers, or non-believers. But this is the direct instruction from Allah Almighty to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and he says, قُلْ “Oh Muhammad”.

Also in verse No. 23, we see in certain verse of Quran:

[Surah An-Nas verse No. 1] قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ

[Surah Al-Falaq verse No. 1] قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ

[Surah Al-Al-Ikhlas, No. 1] قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

[Surah Al-Kafirun, verse No. 1] لْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ

So, any time you read the word قُلْ, automatically you will understand that the Allah Almighty is saying to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to reply and answer the people and say what exactly they need to know. So, first Allah Almighty says, قُلْ “Oh Muhammad, tell them.” What?

Allah Almighty, he is the one who multiplied you on earth. Amazingly, Allah (SWT) made us with different colours, different nations, different languages, different faces and everything is different and Allah Almighty keeps multiplying us until the day of judgment. Look at the beauty and creation of Allah (SWT), who created us from the time of Adam (PBUH) until today. How many tillions and trillions of people live on the surface of the earth? How many people do you know look the same? Yes, I understand that, There are people who look the same. They are almost very closed, when you see.

Yah, I saw this brother, and i saw same brother in another country with same face, same body language and same excalty look like this one. In only few cases,

But imagine: How many of us look alike? There may be only a few, right? So, look at the creation of Allah Almighty that created and keeps multiplying us from different nations, different religions, different backgrounds, and everything else. But yet, our faces are different, and our finger print are different. “Subhanallah”

Tafseer of Surah Al Mulk

You seen a same face people, a little bit same, but the finger print of these two same face people are different, the eye prints are different, the DNA of these two same face people are different. It’s completely different. So, look at the beauty of the creation of Allah Almighty.

So, after all this, what will happen? Allah Almighty said: That these non-believers and non-Muslims says in ayah No. 25,

Which means, “And they say, When is this promise, if you should be truthful?” So, now these people (non-believers), who are denying Allah (SWT), are denying the day of judgment. They will say,

When this time will come, when the day of judgment will come, when the promise that you are making that we will die and be resurrected will come, when will this happen? اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ, if you are really truthful, if you saying the right thing. So, they are denying Allah (SWT) and this was the case that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, this was time even, after the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, you will find the people that they are denying until today. After the revolution of the Quran and after the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, almost 1440 years to today. The people with high power say, “We don’t believe on the day of judgment; we don’t care about it. When will this time come? When will the day of judgment come? When will the promise that you are making that we will die and be resurrected come true? When will this happen? So, they are moking; they are denying Allah (SWT). But who believe Allah, follow the right path, follow Islam, follow the path of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, they will be guided, they will be successful, and you will see the result on the day of judgment. Inshallah. So, at the end, take care of yourself and may Allah’s peace mercy blessing be on you. ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ
