Introduction of Surah Al-Mulk

Tafseer of Surah Al-Mulk Full (verse 8-10): ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ, May Allah’s peace and mercy blessings be on you. Alhamdulillah by the will of Allah Almighty, we are still going on with the same chapter Surat Mulk, the 67th chapter of the Quran. At Surah Al-Mulk we stopped last (verses 3-7) and now we will continue from (verse 8).

Tafseer of Surah Al-Mulk Full (verse 8-10)

Where Allah Almighty says,

تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلْغَيْظِ كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌۭ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌۭ

This means, “It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, “Did there not come to you a warner?” So, the first question is what’s the meaning of this verse, what is the story behind it? As you know the previous ayah was saying,

إِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ فِيهَا سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا شَهِيقًۭا وَهِىَ تَفُورُ

which means when Allah throws the disbelievers or those who deny Allah Almighty as their lord or their rabb Allah Almighty will throw them into hellfire and this hellfire will boil up with lava and everything and it will make them hear their own scream and everyone is hearing the scream and then Allah Almighty now describing about this hellfire in this verse, where we said;

تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلْغَيْظِ

This means that it almost bursts with range, It is burning and bursts with rage and what will happen (كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌۭ سَأَلَهُمْ) This whenever there’s a group of these non-believers and disbelievers thrown into it (سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ) that the keepers the god of this place will ask them the god of the hellfire will ask these people (أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌۭ) didn’t the warner come to you, which means, In this world whatever you are doing, you didn’t see the warner didn’t someone come to you what you are doing, you didn’t see the warner didn’t someone come to you and tell you what you are doing is wrong you are denying Allah Almighty wrong.

You are not obeying Allah Almighty, which is wrong you are mocking and laughing at Muslims and believing men and believing women don’t you think it’s wrong, don’t didn’t you read something on social media and didn’t see the channels or news or anything didn’t read any booklet about Islam all these things consider as a warning for you. Don’t try to hurt and disturb our brother Muslims and believers who are following the path of Allah Almighty those who are worshipping Allah Almighty alone the one god. Don’t try to stop them for what they are doing people are just going and pulling the hijabs of women in some countries and they are trying to hurt and bother these Muslim men who are trying to practice those haters those non-believers.

Surah Al-Mulk

It’s a question for them, didn’t you know that what you are doing is wrong for sure you know it’s wrong for sure. That’s why Allah Almighty made these people in the hell fire says,

كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌۭ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌۭ

Whenever people these non-believers, those who do not believe in Allah Almighty are thrown into hellfire, the garden or the gods of hellfire will ask, didn’t have the owner come to you, you know what is the answer? The answer is,

قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٌۭ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ كَبِيرٍۢ

This means they will say yes our owner had come to us, but we denied it and said Allah has sent down anything you are not, but in a great error in a great loss. So, what is the meaning of this ayah, what is the meaning of this specific verse? As I said that Allah Almighty will make these people confirm that yes we got the Warner, we saw something about Muslims we saw something about Allah Almighty. We know about Muslims that they worship Allah Almighty the one god we know, what is right, and what’s wrong but they still insist what they are doing is wrong they insist on being away from the right path and the truth.

So, what happened this is what exactly happened and what they said,

قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَنَا

Yes indeed Warner came to us for (فَكَذَّبْنَا) we denied and that’s the problem that we denied, always deny they always deny, and not only that what they will say, (وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ) Allah did not send down anything, we don’t believe in Allah, what is Allah? what is god, we don’t believe in that and even those who believe in God, they say no we don’t believe in Islam, we don’t believe in the book that Allah Almighty sent down and they are completely denying it. What Allah Almighty says,

إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۢ كَبِيرٍۢ

You are not except in the great Los Bala completely misguided, you are completely misguided people. Not only that, they continued and what they said,

وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِىٓ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

Also Read:

This means, “And they will say, If only we had been listening or reasoning we would not be among the companions of the Blaze.” It is a very important ayah, my brothers and sisters look what the ayah means here, Let’s think deeply about this ayah. They will say, لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلوَ, If we were only listening means you know all is about that they have to sit and listen, they have to sit and discuss with Muslims with Imams with a knowledgeable person or someone who can give you information about Islam, Information about the religion of the truth and the religion of peace, but now they are confirming, what law we wish, If we had listened to those people (أَوْ نَعْقِلُ), or we just reason, we have to sit and think properly, they neither listen nor they used their brain nothing even though some other places Allah Almighty saying,

That comes, come let’s discuss, sit and discuss, let’s have a dialogue, let’s have a discussion, and the first term and the condition of this thing is, let’s at least agree Allah. We should not worship except Allah alone, we should only worship Allah alone, my lord and your lord simple as that and this is from another verse from another chapter of the Quran.

Conclusion

I do the same thing here about these people, these non-believers are now confirming (وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ), Oh we wish if we had listened or we had reasoned, what you’re saying (أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِىٓ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ), we will be not at or we will not be with the companion of the hellfire, the companion of the blades. That’s the problem, that people if they are completely heedless, they are seeing but there’s coverage there’s some cover in front of their eyes and they are not seeing, they are not listening to the truth they are not seeing the truth may Allah Almighty makes us among the people of the truth and make us among those who follow the path of the truth and we die on that and we meet Allah Almighty on the day of Judgment. So, take care of yourself As-salamu alaykum!
